About Us

The Sister Duo - Sarah and Katie

We are so happy that you are here! The story of Wilted Wonders unofficially began in 2020 when Sarah got married. She searched for a local floral preservationist to save her flowers, but was not successful in finding one so she decided to do it herself. After preserving her wedding bouquet, and other sentimental bouquets that followed she realized how enjoyable it was. Realizing how important preserving memories through flowers is what sparked what became Wilted Wonders! After Sarah proposed this idea to her sister Katie, they began the process of much trial and error of different methods to preserve flowers and pouring epoxy resin. After gaining experience and expertise Wilted Wonders officially went public in the summer of 2022.

Sarah and Katie, the sister duo grew up on a farm in south western Manitoba. They enjoyed being surrounded by nature and learning to garden from their family. Having a deep appreciation for flowers and the ability to preserve their beauty is the passion behind this business. We strive not only to create beautiful pieces from your bouquets, but to preserve memories for years to come.

Meet our Team:

Hi! I am Sarah. Apart from creating for Wilted Wonders I work full time as a nurse on a busy surgical ward, and I am often chasing my dog and three cats around, or building up a Lego collection with my husband. I have an affinity for dry humour and staying too busy.
My role in Wilted Wonders is epoxy resin and framing artist, social media management, event and market planning as well as a touch of customer relations and delivery driving. I love the journey of growing our business and hope to be able to create for years to come!

Hey, I’m Katie! Currently when I am not working on Wilted Wonders projects, you can find me at my full-time sales job. I have a diploma in marketing, and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. I really enjoy connecting with people in all aspects of my life. In my spare time I like traveling, taking my dogs for walks, reading, and working out.

My role in Wilted Wonders consists of customer relations, marketing, book keeping, pressing the flowers, assisting in framing, and collaborating with Sarah on a daily basis. I hope to one day solely be doing Wilted Wonders work, to preserve as many sentimental bouquets as possible.
